Clarksville, Ark.-The LeTourneau University women's tennis team took a 7-2 victory in the Eagles' American Southwest Conference opener Friday.
Madison Sieber and Maggie Johnson won 8-6 at No. 2 doubles, but LeTourneau (1-10, 1-0 ASC) would win at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions. In singles, Johnson was the team's only winner, posting a 7-5, 6-2 victory at No. 5. Karlee Hart was edged out at the No. 1 position.
The Eagles fall to 3-12 overall and 0-1 in the conference.
The Eagles will host UT-Tyler Saturday, April 1.
