Women’s Tennis Team Nets ASC Win

Pineville, La.-The women's tennis team posted its first American Southwest Conference win of the spring season with a 5-4 victory over Louisiana College Saturday.

With the win, Ozarks secured a spot in the ASC Playoffs.

In singles play, Karlee Hart defeated Taylor Trahan 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 1 position. Imani Doyle defeated Isabella Santa Maria 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2. Kirsten Endicott defeated Shannon French 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4.

At No. 1 doubles, Hart and Doyle teamed up for an 8-0 win over Santa Maria and Trahan.

At the No. 2 position, Johnson and Endicott combined for an 8-4 win over McKenna Raines and French.

Ozarks is now 4-13 overall and 1-2 in league play. Louisiana College drops to 3-6 overall and 0-2 in the ASC.
