Women’s Tennis Team Eliminated From ASC Championship Tournament

Abilene, Texas-The women's tennis team was eliminated from the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament Thursday 5-0 against Hardin-Simmons University.

Hardin-Simmons (15-6) won each doubles match to open play. Leading 3-0 heading into singles action, Hardin-Simmons posted a win at No. 6 by default and then clinched the victory with a win at No. 5.

The Eagles end the season 4-16 overall.

It was the second consecutive season the Eagles qualified for the tournament, both coming under head coach Cullen Dees.
