Women's Tennis Team Nets Win Over Louisiana College

Clarksville, Ark.-The women's tennis team took an impressive 9-0 shutout win over conference opponent Louisiana College Saturday morning.

In doubles play, the number one pairing of Alexis Rogers and Lexy Corona posted an 8-3 dominating victory while the number two pairing of Karlee Hart and Kirsten Endicott dictated play by winning 8-0. Transitioning in to singles action, the Eagles capitalized on their 3-0 doubles advantage. Number one player Alexis Rogers won 6-1, 6-1, and number four player Tori Woods won 6-0, 6-0.

The Eagles will face conference opponents East Texas Baptist University and Belhaven University on the road April 20 and 21 to end the regular season.
