Women's Tennis Team Advances To Post-Season

Clarksville, Ark.- In his first year as head coach, Jeff Kutac has led the University of the Ozarks women's tennis team to the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament.

It is the third straight appearance for the women's program. The Eagles finished as the No. 4 seed from the East Division and will face Texas-Dallas April 26 at 11:30 a.m. Texas-Dallas (10-3, 6-0 ASC) is the No. 1 seed from the West Division. The women's team finished 2-15 overall and 2-3 in the conference. The tournament will be held on the campus of UT-Tyler.

"I feel like the women's team is playing better and better every week," said Kutac. "The progress has been great. Finishing up our regular season with a 5-4 win gives us some momentum. Our doubles are looking better and we have had some improved results in singles."
