The Eagles went 1-2 on a recent Texas road trip.

The women's tennis team went 1-2 on a Texas roadtrip over the weekend.

Hardin-Simmons University topped the Eagles (3-5) 8-1 on February 22. Karlee Hart won her singles match at the No. 4 position.

The Eagles came back the next day to handle Howard Payne University 6-3. Hart and Alexandria Corona handled their No. 2 doubles 8-3. Hart won at No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-0 and Kirsten Endicott won at No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-1. 

Against McMurry on February 24, the Eagles were shutout 9-0.

The Eagles will host John Brown University and Texas Wesleyan March 8.
