Clarksville, Ark..-The women's tennis team hung tough with LeTourneau University Tuesday but came out with a 6-3 setback in American Southwest Conference play.
The Eagles (6-7, 1-1 ASC) picked up a win in doubles. Kaitlin Gutierrez and Abrian Johnson teamed up for a 8-2 victory at No. 3. In singles play, Alexandria Corona won her match 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 4 position. At the No. 5 spot, Gutierrez won 6-1, 7-5.
The Eagles will host East Texas Baptist University April 12 in conference play.
