
Clarksville, Ark.- A trio of University of the Ozarks women's tennis players received All-Conference honors from the American Southwest Conference, it was announced Tuesday (May 17).
Freshman Tatum Hatridge received All-Conference Second Team in fight four singles. The freshmen duo of Jessica Gayle and Yadira Rodriguez were named to the All-Conference Second Team in flight three doubles.
Hatridge, a native of Salem, Missouri, posted a 9-6 singles record at the No. 3 and No. 4 position in the lineup. Her nine wins are the second-most in program history for a season. Hatridge won five of her six final singles matches to finish out a strong season. She won all three of her conference matches to help the Eagles clinch a post-season spot. She also won four doubles matches.
Gayle, a native of Angelton, Texas, and Rodriguez, a native of Kaufman, Texas, teamed up for a 2-1 doubles record against conference opponents at the No. 3 position. The duo helped secure a spot in the post-season with clutch wins over LeTourneau and Belhaven. Both Rodriguez and Gayle finished the season with three doubles wins. Rodriguez was named ASC Player of the Week once during the season.
The Eagles qualified for the Conference Championship Tournament in 2022.
