Memphis, Tenn.-The University of the Ozarks women's and men's track team competed in the Rhodes College Invitational Friday and Saturday.
On day one, two Eagles competed in the 5K. In the women's 5K, Hannah Smith ran a 20:22.08 for 45th place. In the men's 5K, Jonathon Wood ran a 18:02.35 for 61st place. On day two, Smith placed 31st in the one-mile with a time of 5:54.92. Stephanie Alderson placed 40th with a time of 6:10.85. In the women's 400-meter dash, Jacquelyn Vaden ran a 1:07.76 for 28th place. In the women's 800, Alderson ran a 2:50.72 for 27th place. Grasyn Langley ran a 2:51.84 for 28th place. In the men's 800, Wood placed 29th with a time of 2:11.49.
The Eagles will travel to Magnolia to compete in the Southern Arkansas University Invite March 25.
