Abilene, Texas-Hannah Smith easily cruised to the 2018 American Southwest Conference Steeplechase Championship today in Abilene, Texas, at the ASC Championships running a 12:18.58.

Smith pulled way midway through the race and topped Alexis Segura from LeTourneau. Smith's time bettered Segura's 12:31.86. Smith's dominate race capped the day's final women's event at the Championships.
