Clarksville, Ark. – University of the Ozarks senior Hannah Smith was named the American Southwest Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week, the ASC office announced April 9.

Smith, a native of Blue Eye, Mo., ran a 5:11.15 in the 1,500 meters to place eighth overall at the Little Rock Open Saturday. Smith's time was her fastest of the 2019 outdoor season. This is her third career Athlete of the Week honors.

The Eagles will compete in the ASC Championships in Abilene, Texas, April 19-20.
