    Fayetteville, Ark.-Chloe Weathers represented the women's track team at the prominent University of Arkansas John McDonnell Invitational on Friday in Fayetteville. Weathers competed against SEC runners as well as other NCAA I teams and NCAA II athletes at famed John McDonnell Field. Weathers ran in the 3,000-meter race and placed 12th overall running a 10:49.69.

    Bolivar, Mo.-The women's track team competed in the Southwest Baptist University Bearcat Open Saturday in Bolivar, Missouri. In the 3000 steeple, Chloe Boyer ran a 14:23.37 for ninth place. In the 800, Mileidy Espinoza ran a 3:21.56 for 44th place. In the 3000, Chloe Weathers ran a 10:46.96 for fourth place, Alma Ramirez ran a 13:39.22 for 22nd place and Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 14:26.27 for 23rd place.

    Clarksville, Ark. - In the first edition of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Rankings released this week, the University of the Ozarks women's and men’s track team earned regional rankings.
  • Individuals Place Among Top-10 At UCA

    Conway, Ark.-The women's track team competed in the University of Central Arkansas Richard Martin Jr. Invitational over the weekend in Conway. In the 1500-meter, Chloe Weathers ran a 4:55.01 for eighth place. Alma Ramirez ran a 6:19.20 for 24th place. Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 6:24.48 for 25th place. Marcela Valladares ran a 7:13.33 for 27th place and Mileidy Espinoza ran a 7:32.37 for 28th place. In the 800-meter, Weathers placed fifth overall running a 2:27.72. Aleman ran a 3:09.42 for tenth place. Ramirez ran a 3:13.04 for 11th place. Espinoza ran a 3:29.78 for 13th place and Valladares ran a 3:35.33 for 14th place.

    Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks freshman track runner Chloe Weathers was named the American Southwest Conference Track Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday (March 14).
  • Spring Track Opens At Hendrix College

    Conway, Ark.-The Eagles competed at the Hendrix College Alumni Open on Saturday in Conway. In the 3,000 steeple, Chloe Boyer placed eighth with a time of 14:15.08. In the 1500, Anastasia DeLaCruz ran a 6:07.87 for 37th place. In the 800, Alisone Guzman ran a 3:17.69 for 32nd, Mileidy Espinoza ran a 3:36.40 for 33rd and Marcela Valladares ran a 3:38.53 for 34th. In the 5000, Chloe Weathers placed fifth with a time of 18:40.68. Weathers time set a new program record. Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 22:25.56 for 23rd and Alma Ramirez ran a 24:02.55 for 26th.

    Siloam Springs, Ark.-The Eagles competed at the Sooner Athletic Conference Invite Saturday hosted by John Brown University in Siloam Springs. In the women’s 1500, Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 6:49.73 for 17th place. Marcela Valladares ran a 7:24.09 for 18th place and Mileidy Espinoza ran a 8:28.11 for 19th place. In the men’s 4x800, the Eagles placed third with a time of 8:56.51. In the men’s 1500, Colby Dorcely ran a 4:59.25 for 17th place. In the men's 400, Cesar Rodriguez ran a 53.52 for third place. Travion Dickerson ran a 56.95 for sixth place. In the men's 5000, Nathan Rankin ran a 18:26.11 for 16thplace.
