Clarksville, Ark.-Freshman runner Madison Sherrer finished as the team's top runner at the Ozarks Cross Country Invitational Saturday, October 4, in Clarksville.
Sherrer ran a 22:16 in the 5K race to place fifth overall. Freshman Stephanie Alderson placed seventh overall with a time of 22:49. As a team, Ozarks was third with 53 points. Hendrix College women won the race with 28 points.
Ozarks will travel to Clinton, Mississippi, to run in the Mississippi College Choctaw Open October 18.
