
Clarksville, Ark.-Hendrix College freshman runner Leah Bishop paced the Lady Warriors to the 5K Arkansas D-III Championship Wednesday in Clarksville.
Bishop ran a 20:03 to win the individual title and help her team to a team title. Freshman runner Stephanie Alderson was Ozarks' top runner, finishing third overall with a time of 24:36. Erika Henderson was second for Ozarks running a 26:12. Nena Evans (26:15), Kathleen Sotomayor (27:46) and Megan Wallace (29:45) rounded out the Ozarks runners.
Ozarks totaled 37 points, while Hendrix scored 18.
