Women’s Cross Country Team Wins Bob Gravett Invitational

Arkadelphia, Ark.-The women's cross country team started the 2015 running season in impressive fashion winning the 5K Bob Gravett Invitational hosted by Ouachita Baptist University Saturday morning.

Ozarks won the race with 44 points and had two women finish among the top three. Freshman Hannah Smith placed second overall with a time of 22:31.66. Also for Ozarks, freshman Caitlyn Bell finished third with a time of 22:42.90. Ouachita's Katie Cunningham won the race with a time of 21:24.34. Sophomore Madison Sherrer placed ninth overall with a time of 23:49.16. Nena Evans was 14th overall with a time of 25:00.17. Stephanie Alderson was 16th overall with a time of 25:21.32. Caitlyn Hill was 20th overall with a time of 25:52.05 and Erika Henderson was 26th with a time of 28:06.90.
