Women’s Cross Country Team Places Seventh At Ozarks Invitational

Clarksville, Ark.-The women's cross country team placed seventh overall at the 5K Ozarks Invitational Saturday.

Ozarks battled eight other teams, including a number of NCAA II institutions, on its home course. Individually, Caitlyn Bell was Ozarks' top finisher running a 20:55.4 for 25th place. Caitlyn Hill placed 40th with a time of 21:44.0. Nena Evans was 45th with a time of 22:09.1. Madison Sherrer was 52nd with a time of 22:56.4. Hannah Smith was 56th after posting a 23:08.9, while Stephanie Alderson was 57th with a time of 23:16.1. Erika Henderson was 59th running a 23:39.8. Iman Turner rounded out Ozarks with a time of 30:44.0 for 77th place.

Harding University won the race.

Ozarks will run in the College of the Ozarks Invitational October 17 in Missouri.
