THE BASICS
The Eagles bring back the Arkansas D-III Championship trophy. The women scored 27 points, while Hendrix posted 28 points. The Ozarks' women won the title in 2015. Junior Hannah Smith won the individual title and set a new program record.

NEW RECORDS
Hannah Smith set the program 2-mile record with a time of 13:29.0. The previous record was 13:41.8, set by Samantha Sparks in 2010.

"We executed our game plan very well. Hannah had a great race to win the individual title, but Stephanie ran a great race and was probably the difference. Overall, this was a great start to the season. Hendrix is a tough team and they ran a great race."
