COACH PROVENCE QUOTE
"The Chile Pepper Festival is always a great race. The atmosphere is unique and our teams enjoy competing here. We wanted to use this race to gain more race experience, both in preparation for and execution of the game plan. I'm very proud of Hannah for breaking the 5K school record. We made a slight adjustment to her race strategy going in so she deserves a lot of credit for believing in herself and executing. I was also happy with the team's performance as a whole. Overall, six women ran new personal bests today. This group is gaining confidence at the right time of the season."
