Clarksville, Ark.-For the second straight year, the University of the Ozarks women's cross country team earned the team academic award from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Under Head Coach Jeremy Provence, the Eagles posted a group cumulative grade point average of 3.11. Ozarks was one of 221 NCAA III institutions to receive the honor. 2017 team members included Stephanie Alderson, Katelyn Bradley, Katherine Goins, Chauzney Hooks, Grasyn Langley, Areli Moreno and Hannah Smith.
To be honored as an All-Academic Cross Country Team, teams must meet NCAA criteria for sponsorship and must also have a minimum team GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.
