THE BASICS
Chloe Weathers won the Arkansas D3 Championships Saturday and set a new program 6k record running a 23:18. The Eagles won the race and all five runners placed in the top-10. Weathers broke the 6k record set in 2017 by Hannah Smith (23:28.04). Weathers' time makes her the fastest NCAA III women's runner in the state over Hendrix College and Lyon College. Chloe Boyer finished fifth overall with a time of 26:45. Alma Ramirez was eighth overall with a time of 30:35. Solena Martinez Aleman was ninth with a time of 30:36 and Flor Carrillo ran a 32:46 for tenth place.
