Eagles Place Seventh, Weathers Receives Conference Accolades

Chloe Weathers finished second at the ASC Championships and was named ASC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-Conference.

THE BASICS
The Eagles finished seventh overall at the 2023 American Southwest Conference Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Abilene, Texas. Chloe Weathers placed second in the race and was named the ASC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-Conference for her performance. In addition, Weathers broke the school 6k record running a 23:21.1. Kylah Holland from Hardin-Simmons University won the Championships running a 22:06.8. Chloe Boyer ran a 27:21.1 for 45th place. Alma Ramirez ran a 29:55.9 for 54th place. Solena Martinez Aleman placed 57th running a 32:05.6 and Flor Carrillo placed 59th with a time of 33:19.8. Weathers will also run in the NCAA III Regional November 11 in Waverly, Iowa.
