  • Chloe Weathers Represents Eagles At NCAA III Regional
    November 11, 2023
    Waverly, Iowa-Chloe Weathers represented the University of the Ozarks women’s cross country team at the NCAA III Midwest Regional Championships on Saturday in Waverly, Iowa. Weathers ran a 26:43.9 in the 6k race for 66th place. Lexi Brown from Warburg College won the regional with a time of 20:51.6. 214 runners competed in the race. That ends the season for the Eagles.
  • Eagles Place Seventh, Weathers Receives Conference Accolades

    The Eagles finished seventh overall at the 2023 American Southwest Conference Women’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Abilene, Texas. Chloe Weathers placed second in the race and was named the ASC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-Conference for her performance. In addition, Weathers broke the school 6k record running a 23:21.1. Kylah Holland from Hardin-Simmons University won the Championships running a 22:06.8. Chloe Boyer ran a 27:21.1 for 45th place. Alma Ramirez ran a 29:55.9 for 54th place. Solena Martinez Aleman placed 57th running a 32:05.6 and Flor Carrillo placed 59th with a time of 33:19.8. Weathers will also run in the NCAA III Regional November 11 in Waverly, Iowa.
  • ASC Cross Country Championships Set For October 28

    Clarksville, Texas – The 2023 American Southwest Conference women’s and men’s cross country championships are set for Saturday (Oct. 28) in Abilene, Texas. The races will take place at the Zoe Park and is being hosted by UT Dallas.
  • Chloe Weathers Breaks Record En Route To Winning Title

    Clarksville, Ark.-Chloe Weathers won the Arkansas D3 Championships Saturday and set a new program 6k record running a 23:18. The Eagles won the race and all five runners placed in the top-10. Weathers broke the 6k record set in 2017 by Hannah Smith (23:28.04). Weathers' time makes her the fastest NCAA III women's runner in the state over Hendrix College and Lyon College. Chloe Boyer finished fifth overall with a time of 26:45. Alma Ramirez was eighth overall with a time of 30:35. Solena Martinez Aleman was ninth with a time of 30:36 and Flor Carrillo ran a 32:46 for tenth place. Team results will be determined after times are officially submitted. 
  • Chloe Weathers Breaks School Record, Eagles Place Third On Senior Day

    Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles placed third overall in the U of O Invitational to cap off Senior Day for three runners and Chloe Weathers broke the school’s 5k record running a 18:50.0. \
  • Chloe Weathers Has Top-10 Finish At Chile Pepper Festival

    The Eagles competed in the University of Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival Friday afternoon and placed 17th overall in the 5k race. Chloe Weathers led the Eagles with a ninth-place finish running a 19:20.7. Chloe Boyer followed with a time of 24:53.3 for 127th place. Alma Ramirez ran a 26:05.8 for 141st place. Solena Martinez Aleman posted a time of 26:08.3 for 142nd place and Flor Carrillo ran a 29:38.7 for 165th place.

    Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks Athletic Department has dedicated four different home competitions as ‘Pink Out’ events, in support of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 
  • Women's Cross Country Places Fourth At Harding Invite
    September 15, 2023
    Searcy, Ark.-The Eagles placed fourth at the 5k Harding University Steve Guymon Invitational Friday in Searcy. The Eagles were led by Chloe Weathers, who finished 11th overall with a time of 19:46.6. Chloe Boyer followed with a time of 25:13.1 for 23rd place. Alma Ramirez ran a 25:52.7 for 26th place. Solena Martinez Aleman was 28th with a time of 25:55.1 and Flor Carrillo was 34th with a time of 28:12.2.
  • Women's Cross Country Team Opens 2023 Season

    The Eagles opened the 2023 cross country season at the 3-mile UCA XC Invitational on Saturday in Conway. The Eagles were led by Chloe Weathers, who finished 12th overall. She ran a 17:59.04. Chloe Boyer followed with a time of 22:22.71 for 32nd place. Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 24:40.42 for 37th place. Alma Ramirez placed 39th with a time of 25:27.32 and Flor Carrillo placed 42nd with a time of 26:38.47.

    Clarksville, Ark.-119 University of the Ozarks student-athletes have been named to the 2022-23 Academic All-Conference Team by the American Southwest Conference, it was announced by the league office August 2.

  • Four Women's Cross Country Runners Compete In NCAA III Regional

    Geneva, Ill.-The Eagles capped the 2022 running season competing in the 6k NCAA III Regional in Geneva, Illinois, Saturday. Four Eagles ran in the race with Chloe Boyer leading the way with a 28:27.1. Boyer finished 158thoverall. Anastascia DeLaCruz ran a 29:23.0 for 168th place. Alma Ramirez ran a 29:41.0 for 172nd place. Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 30:52.2 for 179th place.
  • Eagles Compete At ASC Championships

    Marshall, Texas-The Eagles competed in the American Southwest Conference Championships Saturday in Marshall, Texas, and finished seventh overall. Under cloudy skies and wet course conditions, the 6K race saw Hardin-Simmons’ Kylah Holland post a near championship record winning time of 22:31.0. Chloe Boyer was the top finisher for the Eagles. She ran a 27:29.7 for 35th place. Anastascia DeleCruz followed with a time of 28:39.9 for 46th place. Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 31:48.3 for 58th place. Alison Guzman ran a 33:18.2 for 61st place. Marcela Valladares finished 65th with a time of 36:54.5. Mileidy Espinoza was 66th overall with a time of 37:39.3 and Katlynn Moore was 67th with a time of 40:20.9.

    Richardson, Texas – The 2022 American Southwest Conference cross country championships are set for Saturday (Oct. 29). The races will take place at the Course of Marshall City Arena and is being hosted by East Texas Baptist University.

    The Eagles traveled to Marshall, Texas to compete in the 6k East Texas Baptist University Tiger Invitational and finished fourth overall. Chloe Boyer paced the Eagles with a time of 28:37.1 for 16th place. Anastascia DeLaCruz followed with a time of 23:52.9 for 43rd place. Alisone Guzman ran a 34:20.2 for 26th place. Mileidy Espinoza was 28th overall with a time of 37:43.1 .Katlynn Moore placed 29th with a time of 38:05.2 and Marcela Valladares ran a 39:59.8 for 30th place.

    Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles hosted the U of O Invitational on a beautiful Saturday morning and finished sixth overall. Chloe Boyer paced the Eagles with a time of 22:34.0 for 27th place. Anastascia DeLaCruz followed with a time of 23:52.9 for 43rd place. Alma Ramirez ran a 24:44.7 for 52nd place. Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 26:54.1 for 59th place. Katlynn Moore posted a time of 27:54.2 for 63rd place. Marcela Valladares ran a 29:59.4 for 68th place and Mileidy Espinozaran a 31:02.5 for 71st place.

    Clinton, Miss.The Eagles placed seventh at the 6K Mississippi College Watson Classic Saturday in Clinton, Mississippi. Anastascia DeLaCruz paced the Eagles at the race running a 29:35.00 for 54th place. Alma Ramirez followed running a 29:39.60 for 55th place. Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 33:07.00 for 62nd place. Alisone Guzman ran a 33:26.60 for 63rd place. Mileidy Espinoza ran a 38:50.60 for 76th place.

Anastascia DeLaCruz ran a 24:39.7 for 89th place. Alma Ramirez ran a 25:09.4 for 94th place. Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 27:59.1 for 113th place. Alisone Guzman ran a 28:13.3 for 115th place. Marcela Valladares ran a 30:31.5 for 126th place and Mileidy Espinoza ran a 32:11.4 for 128thplace.
