Luther Hosting the The Gator Duals/Gator 'Boots' Duals (15 Years):

The 2021 Gator 'Boots" Duals returns to McGavock High School, Nashville, Tenn., following a year off due to COVID-19. This will be the 15th year that Luther has hosted what is now called the Gator 'Boots' Duals.

History: This 15-year tradition started in Orlando, Florida and was called the The Gator Duals (2006-2010). For two years The Gator Duals took place in New Orleans, Louisiana (2011-12). After visiting Nashville for the first time with his family, Head Coach Dave Mitchell felt Nashville would be an awesome city to host the Gator Duals. No Gators were spotted during the visit, so he needed to add something to the title that would make it relevant to the location. The Gator 'Boots' Duals have been held every year in Nashville since 2013 except for 2020 when the Duals were canceled due to COVID-19.

The Luther College wrestling team and coach Mitchell would like to thank McGavock High School for once again providing the venue for the 2019 Gator 'Boots' Duals. Coach Mitchell would also like to send a special thank you to Raiders Head Wrestling Coach Paul Douglas and members of his team for all they have done for this event to continue to take place. The team members will operate Trackwrestling results and provide a concession stand throughout the day.

Admission: $10 Adults - $5 Students - 5 years of age and under (Free)
