Game One Overview
Abilene, Texas- Hardin-Simmons University broke a 1-1 tie with the game-winning run in the final inning of play to edge the Eagles 2-1 in game one Saturday. Dru Didway blasted a solo home run in the second frame to put the Eagles in front 1-0. Hardin-Simmons later scored on an error with two outs in the fifth. The Eagles had seven hits in the contest, with Cole Clark finishing 3-for-4. The Cowboys recorded eight hits.

Game Two Overview
Things got away from the Eagles in the final inning of play as Hardin-Simmons scored four runs in the seventh to end with a 12-5 win in game two. The Eagles opened the game with two runs on RBI from Isaac Price and Dru Didway. The Cowboys responded with three runs in the bottom half of the frame. The Eagles came right back in the second and got all three runs back to take a 5-3 lead. Rennie Arjona ripped a two-run single and Price had an RBI single in the inning. But that would be all the offense the Eagles would muster. Price and Jackson Baker had two hits for the Eagles.
