Clarksville, Ark.-Dallas Christian College shot 51 percent from the field and then held off a late Eagles' rally Monday night to pick up a 86-78 win.

Dallas Christian (2-6) built a 42-31 halftime advantage and then led by as many as 18 points in the second half. At the 15:47 mark of the second half, Ozarks (0-1) trailed 53-35 before mounting a comeback. The Eagles eventually took a 69-68 advantage on Josh Berard's three-point play with 6:13 left. However, Dallas Christian came back to hold an eight-point lead with 2:22 left.

Berard led Ozarks with 24 points. Jace Richardson added 18 points to go along with five assists. Ted Beard IV posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Ozarks will host Barclay College November 21 and Champion Baptist November 22.
