Eagles Cruise Past Central Baptist 98-81

Clarksville, Ark.-Kelby Robinson scored 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while Josh Berard poured in 27 points and Jace Richardson added 20 more to propel the Eagles past Central Baptist College 98-81 Tuesday in non-conference play.

The Eagles (6-8) started slow, but eventually pulled away from the Mustangs (4-7) in the second half. Ozarks hit 37 percent of its shots from the floor in the first half, but made 21-of-33 (63%) in the second half. Ozarks would force 14 first half turnovers to lead 39-33 at intermission. Robinson and Berard had 13 and 12 points, respectively, in the first half.
    
The Mustangs climbed within 53-50 with 12:36 left in the game before Ozarks took over. Richardson drilled back-to-back three-pointers to ignite a 14-2 run over the next three minutes. Berard capped the run with a driving layup, while Robinson scored eight points in the final eight minutes of the game.

Dylan Gray also added 12 points in the win. Berard dished out six assists and Josh Ferrell had seven assists and five steals.

Ozarks will travel to Pineville, Louisiana, to face Louisiana College January 17.
