THE BASIC
Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles closed out the game on a 16-4 run to secure a 76-56 win over Hendrix College Sunday. The Eagles stormed back in the second half after Hendrix College briefly held the lead. Trailing 43-40, the Eagles scored nine unanswered points to gain a 49-43 lead at the 12:12 mark of the second half. Hendrix would later cut the deficit to two points, but the Eagles again surged on a quick 9-0 run to control the game. From there, the Eagles were too much for the Warriors and went on another final run to close out the contest. The Eagles led 35-27 at halftime. The Eagles benefited from shooting 53 percent from the floor in the second half. The Eagles' defense was strong forcing the Warriors into 19 turnovers and limited the visitors to just 1-of-16 (6.3%) from the three-point line. Tylan Jackson led the Eagles with 25 points behind a 11-of-22 shooting effort. Josh Ukpe pulled down 11 rebounds.

TURNING POINT
The Eagles used big runs in the second half to pull away from the Warriors. The Eagles led 60-52 with 6:08 left in the game, but then went on a 16-4 run to close out the game. 

TIP-INS
The Eagles' perimeter defense was outstanding limiting Hendrix to just 1-of-16 from the three-point line. Tylan Jackson led the Eagles with 25 points behind a 11-of-22 shooting effort.

The Eagles will play an exhibition game November 17 at UA-Fort Smith and then travel to Jackson, Mississippi, for the Millsaps College Tournament November 19-20.
