THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark.-In a game that saw a combined 66 three-point attempts, the Eagles came close to taking down UT Dallas, but the Comets were able to hit a couple of clutch shots late to steal away a 73-69 win Saturday. With the score tied 66-66 with about three minutes remaining in the game, the Comets hit a three-pointer and then kept the Eagles off the board until Kamren Roelke completed a three-point play with 29 seconds left. The Comets hit a pair of clutch free throws to make it 73-69 with 19 seconds remaining. The Eagles dug deep against the much bigger Comet lineup pulling down 39 rebounds. The Comets held a 41-35 halftime lead. Josh Ukpe led the Eagles with 23 points, hitting four three-pointers.

TURNING POINT
The Comets kept the Eagles off the board for about a minute and 30 seconds late in the game to secure the contest. 

TIP-INS
A combined 66 three-pointers were attempted in the game, with the Eagles taking 38 of those. Grayson Nix and Josh Ukpe each launched ten apiece.
