THE BASICS
Austin, Texas – Concordia University Texas used a 51-38 halftime lead to take a 96-84 win over the Eagles Thursday night in Texas. Both teams shot 46 percent from the field and the two teams combined for 23 three-pointers. With the Eagles leading 21-19 in the first half, Concordia went on a 16-0 run over four minutes to take momentum. That allowed Concordia to go into halftime with a double-digit lead. The Eagles countered with a 10-0 run to open the second half to close the gap to 51-48. But Concordia recovered and was able to eventually gain a 74-61 advantage with eight minutes remaining.

TURNING POINT
After the Eagles held a two point lead in the first half, Concordia went on a 16-0 run over the next four minutes to take momentum.

Kamren Roelke had his highest scoring output of the season with 21 points. Roelke hit three three-pointers.
