    Today we traveled from Lyon to Paris. Following lunch, we took the metro to Parc des Princes Stadium, the home to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). It was a self-guided tour, but it was still a unique place. Getting to see the field was amazing. The stadium was huge and just breathtaking.

    Today the men played a game against La Duchére Academy club. The result was a 2-1 loss, but Senior Kyle Seymour answered for the Eagles.

    Today was adventure day - we went to the open market and saw local pastries on one side of the river and a craft market on the other side of the river. We were able to see local artwork and handmade jewelry.

    France-The morning started off with a bus ride to Little Rock for our first flight to Atlanta. Then arriving to Atlanta, we had a five-hour wait until our flight to Paris, France. It was some of the athletes first every time on a plane, and most first time out of the country.

    Clarksville, Ark.-Nine University of the Ozarks students recently wrote feature stories on current student-athletes at University of the Ozarks. Under the direction of Professor Susan Edens, the students wrote the content and produced pictures/video of the featured student-athletes. The project was part of Edens' Fall 2022 Sports Broadcasting Class. The content was posted on the Athletic Department social media channels.

  • Men's Soccer Team Eliminated From Playoffs

    Richardson, Texas-The Eagles held a 1-0 lead in the second half only to have Texas Dallas score two quick back-to-back goals to pull out a 2-1 win in the semi-finals of the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament Tuesday in Richardson, Texas. It was a tough loss for the Eagles as the Comets eliminated head coach Aaron Brueckner’s team from the post-season. After a scoreless first half, Francisco Horta delivered a penalty kick goal in the 64th minute. But the Comets responded with a penalty kick goal of their own in the 78th minute. The Comets then netted a goal less than one minute later to hold a 2-1 advantage. While the Eagles produced a strong second half, it was too difficult to overcome the Comets’ second goal. The Eagles created 11 second half shots. In the end, the Eagles held a 17-15 shots advantage.

    Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks men's soccer team has advanced to the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament for the twentieth time in program history and the seventh straight season under head coach Aaron Brueckner.
  • Eagles Tie McMurry In Season Finale

    Abilene, Texas-The Eagles and McMurry University battled to a 2-2 tie Saturday in Texas. The tie kept the Eagles in playoff contention. McMurry scored first to hold a 1-0 lead. But Ruaya Zamora answered with a goal in the 23rd minute. McMurry scored early in the second half to grab a 2-1 advantage. The Eagles took nine shots in the second half and found the back of the net in the 67th minute to tie the match. The goal came from Charleus Emmanuel Ritch. In the end, the Eagles outshot the War Hawks 15-13. 
  • Hardin-Simmons' Goals Too Much For Eagles

    Abilene, Texas-After a scoreless first half, Hardin-Simmons University scored three consecutive goals within a five-minute span to upend the Eagles 4-1 Thursday night. The Cowboys scored in the 55th minute and then quickly followed with a goal in the 56th minute to take the momentum. But it was the Eagles that outshot the Cowboys in the second half 10-5. However, the Cowboys added a goal in the 60th minute to make a comeback difficult for the Eagles. Jakob Fiol ended the game with a hat trick for the Cowboys.
  • LeTourneau Men Upset Eagles On Senior Day

    Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles struggled to get much going on Senior Day as LeTourneau University pulled out a 2-1 upset win Saturday in conference play. LeTourneau shocked the Eagles with a goal in the 14th minute right after an Ozarks penalty kick opportunity. The Eagles were unable to convert the penalty kick and LeTourneau responded with a goal. LeTourneau then followed with a goal in the 31st minute to hold a 2-0 halftime advantage. That lead stood all the way until the waning seconds of the game as Alain Claude scored a goal with just seconds remaining. In the end, the Eagles outshot LeTourneau 15-9 and held a 8-4 corner kicks advantage.
  • Nathan Wagner's Late Goal Pushes Eagles Past Tigers

    Clarksville, Ark.-Just when the Eagles needed a clutch play late in the game, freshman Nathan Wagner delivered a beautiful goal in the 88th minute to push the Eagles to a 1-0 win against East Texas Baptist on Thursday. Wagner launched a ball from 25 yards out that sailed right over the goalkeeper's head in the back of the net. It was Wagner's first game-winner of the season and his second goal of the season. The Eagles had a strong second half creating eight shots, while holding the Tigers to just one shot. Caleb Anderson had three saves to notch a shutout. In all, the Eagles had nine shots, with four of those on frame.
  • Crusaders Hand Eagles ASC Home Loss

    Clarksville, Ark.-Mary Hardin-Baylor jumped out to a 3-0 lead and then hung on for a 3-1 conference win over the Eagles Saturday. The Crusaders scored in the 40th minute to hold a 1-0 halftime lead. The Crusaders picked up another goal just after halftime to lead 2-0. Two minutes later, the Crusaders led 3-0, making a comeback difficult. But the Eagles did rally for a penalty kick goal from Francisco Horta in the 67th minute. The Eagles put up a fight the remainder of the game and created several scoring chances but came up empty. Both teams had 11 shots, with Ozarks holding a 6-2 corner kicks advantage. 
  • Eagles Battle Tornados To 2-2 Draw
    October 13, 2022
    Clarksville, Ark.-After a scoreless first half, the Eagles and Concordia University Texas combined for four second half goals as the match ended in a 2-2 draw Thursday. The match saw outstanding back and forth play with quality shots by both teams. The Eagles came close to scoring on at least two occasions in the first half. A shot nearly crossed over the goal line but didn’t make it over. With eight minutes remaining in the first half, another shot hit off the crossbar to rob the Eagles of a score. The score would remain 0-0 at halftime. Leo Lopez eventually broke the 0-0 match with a goal in the 55th minute. Francisco Horta would answer just minutes later on a penalty kick to even the score 1-1. Concordia then took the lead on a goal in the 64th minute. Jorensky Augustin buried a shot in front of the goal off a rebound in the 85th minute to even the score 2-2. The Eagles recorded seven shots, while Concordia had six in the match.
  • Eagles End ASC Battle With 1-1 Draw

    Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles maintained a lead for 88 minutes only to have Texas Dallas tie the match in the waning moments finishing the mammoth conference battle with a 1-1 score. Charleus Emmanuel Ritch scored in the 11th minute to put the Eagles up 1-0. Ritch was a difficult matchup for the Comets all day long and now has eight goals on the season. The Comets would create chances in the second half and eventually found the back of the net with about two minutes remaining. Per new NCAA rules, the match did not go into overtime and ended in a tie. Caleb Anderson came up with six saves in the match. The Eagles still remain with only one loss on the season.
