Clarksville, Ark.- University of the Ozarks junior goalkeeper Caleb Anderson was named the American Southwest Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office.         
     
Anderson, from Broken Arrow, Okla., helped the Eagles open the season 2-0-0 for the first time since 2016 with a pair of shutouts. It is the first time in program history for Ozarks to start a campaign with consecutive shutouts and Anderson grabbed two clean sheets with 90 minutes in both. Anderson collected a combined three saves in the two matches.

Anderson and the Eagles will host Mississippi University for Women September 7 and then hit the road for four consecutive matches.
