HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles scored on a penalty kick in the first half to even the score 1-1 and neither team would score again as Ozarks tied Mississippi University for Women 1-1 Wednesday afternoon. The Owls scored in the 17thminute to go ahead 1-0. The Eagles created scoring opportunities in the first half recording eight shots. The Eagles were awarded a penalty kick in the 23rd minute. Luke Clingerman was able to shoot back-to-back penalty kicks as the Owl goalkeeper was penalized. Clingerman proceeded to bury his second opportunity to tie the match.
