HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles maintained a lead for 88 minutes only to have Texas Dallas tie the match in the waning moments finishing the mammoth conference battle with a 1-1 score. Charleus Emmanuel Ritch scored in the 11th minute to put the Eagles up 1-0. Ritch was a difficult matchup for the Comets all day long and now has eight goals on the season. The Comets would create chances in the second half and eventually found the back of the net with about two minutes remaining. Per new NCAA rules, the match did not go into overtime and ended in a tie. Caleb Anderson came up with six saves in the match. The Eagles still remain with only one loss on the season.
