Men’s Tennis Team Dominates Louisiana College

Pineville, La.-The men's tennis team handed Louisiana College a 9-0 loss as the Eagles dominated the Wildcats in American Southwest Conference play Saturday.

With the win, Ozarks secured a spot in the ASC Playoffs.

The Eagles (6-10, 1-2 ASC) had impressive wins across the board. At No. 1 singles, Dillon Murray defeated Micah Wall 6-0, 6-1. At No. 2 singles, Sebastien Ricard defeated Nathan Gautreaux 6-1, 6-0. At No. 3, Spencer Turner topped Todd Ryals 6-0, 6-0. At No. 4, Jacob Organ defeated Victor Villavieja 6-0, 6-1. At No. 5, Jonah Martinez defeated Brandon Watkins 6-0, 6-0, and at No. 6, Cole Lankford defeated Zac Barrient 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles play, the No. 1 combination of Murray and Jacob Organ defeated Wall and Villavieja 8-0. At No. 2, Turner and Ricard won 8-0 over Gautreaux and Ryals. At No. 3, Lankford and Martinez took down Turran Fennix and Barrient 8-0.

Ozarks will host Belhaven University April 21 and East Texas Baptist University April 22.
