Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team went 2-1 on a road trip in Texas over Spring Break.

The Eagles lost to Southwestern University 8-1, but came back to defeat Schreiner University 5-4 and Texas Lutheran 9-0.

Against Southwestern, the tandem of Haruto Kanskau and Hikaru Yamaya won 8-5 at No. 1 doubles. Against Schreiner, the Eagles swept doubles competition to go ahead 3-0. Hikaru Yamaya and Haruto Kanskau won 8-5 at the No. 1 spot. Aaron Gambrell and TJ Saniseng won 8-7 (7-5) at the No. 2 spot. Joshua Wilde and Griffin Huckelbury won 8-7 (8-6) at the No. 3 spot. In singles play, Aaron Gambrell defeated Austin Cervantes 7-6 (5-0), 6-2 at the No. 4 position. At No. 5, Joshua Wilde defeated Max Schechter 6-4, 7-6 (3-0).

Against Texas Lutheran, the Eagles won every match. At No. 1 singles, Hikaru Yamaya defeated Hunter-Kemball Cook 6-0, 6-3. At the No. 2 position, Aaron Gambrell defeated Simon Carandang 7-5, 6-3. At No. 3, Joshua Wilde defeated Dristan Weaver 6-1, 6-1. At the No. 4 spot, Jan Puvill Fuertes defeated Joshua Huang 6-1, 6-2. At the No. 5 spot, Kao Lenkopane defeated Aaron Salinas 8-2, and at the No. 6 spot, Nico Castells defeated Tyler Sargent 8-2. In No. 1 doubles, TJ Saniseng and Aaron Gambrell took a 8-4 win. At No. 2 doubles, Joshua Wilde and Griffin Huckelbury won 8-1. At the No. 3 position, Kao Lenkopane and Dallas Elmore won  8-3.
     
The Eagles will travel to Siloam Springs to take on John Brown University April 2.
