Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team opened American Southwest Conference play with a 8-1 loss against UT Dallas Friday afternoon in Richardson, Texas.

The Eagles fought hard, coming up short in No. 1 doubles 8-7 and No. 2 doubles  8-7. Joshua Wilde gave Nathan Qi all he wanted at No. 3 singles. Wilde won the first set 7-6, but eventually lost 6-1, 6-1.

The Eagles will host University of Dallas March 13, Sterling College March 14 and LeTourneau University March 16.
