Eagles Top Dallas 8-1

TJ Saniseng celebrates a point against University of Dallas.

Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team posted an impressive 8-1 win over University of Dallas on Monday afternoon. 

The Eagles started the match 3-0 after doubles play. At the No. 1 position, Hikaru Yamaya and Kento Iwahara teamed up for a 8-1 win. Aaron Gambrell and TJ Saniseng battled through a long match to earn a 8-7 win at No. 2. Kao Lenkopane and Perry Guidry won their match 8-0 at the No. 3 spot. The Eagles lost just one singles match. Crusader Shu-Lun Chang defeated Aaron Gambrell 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 1 position. At the No 2 spot, Kento Iwahara defeated John Paul Collins 6-1, 6-0. At the No. 3 position, Joshua Wilde defeated Thomas O'Donnell 6-2, 6-1. Kao Lenkopane won 6-0, 6-0 against Andrew Le at the No. 4 position. At No. 5, Sergio Munoz defeated Joey Nelson 6-0, 6-0 and at the No. 6 spot, Perry Guidry defeated Vincent Salvo 6-1, 6-0.

The Eagles will host Sterling College March 14.
