Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team picked up an important conference win edging LeTourneau University 5-4 Friday afternoon.
The Eagles have now soared to win three in a row heading into spring break week.
The Eagles won two of three doubles matches to start the day. Aaron Gambrell and TJ Saniseng teamed up for a 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles. Kao Lenkopane and Joshua Wilde won 8-3 at the No. 3 spot.
In singles, Kento Iwahara captured a hard-fought 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 2. Lenkopane won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 4 and Sergio Munoz delivered a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 5.
The Eagles will host East Texas Baptist University March 31 in conference play.
