Eagles Net Two Victories On Saturday

Joshua Wilde helped the Eagles win a pair of matches on Saturday.

Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles posted a pair of victories Saturday in Siloam Springs.  

The Eagles defeated University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy-St. Louis 5-2 and John Brown University 6-1.

Against St. Louis-Pharmacy, Hikaru Yamaya and Kento Iwahara won 8-3 at the No. 1 position. Aaron Gambrel and TJ Saniseng won 8-3 at No. 2. Joshua Wilde and Kao Lenkopane won by forfeit at No. 3.

Kento Iwahara defeated Caden Hillman 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2. At No. 3, Joshua Wilde won 6-1, 6-4 against Gavin Brown. At No. 4, Kao Lenkopane took down James Bamberger 6-0, 6-3. At No. 5, Sergio Munoz defeated Alec Johnson 6-0, 6-3. Nico Castells won by forfeit at No. 6.

In doubles competition against John Brown, Gambrell and Saniseng won 6-3 at No. 2. At No. 3, Lenkopane and Wilde won 6-4. In singles competition, Iwahara defeated Spencer Keeter 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2. At the No. 3 position, Wilde defeated Jonathan Hillock 7-6, 6-2. Lenkopane took a 6-3, 6-2 win over Carson Thoma at No. 4. At the No. 6 spot, Castells won 6-3, 6-1 against Blake Cunningham.
