THE BASICS
The women's and men's track teams competed in the Belhaven University Invitational April 17 in Jackson, Mississippi. The men's 4x400 relay set a new NCAA III school record with a time of 3:44.23. The team included Ndayambaje John, Cesar Rodriguez, Benjamin Stormes and Keeshon Towles and placed fifth in the event. Rodriguez ran a personal best 4:32.73 in the 1500-meter for 14^th place. Benjamin Stormes ran a 57.96 in the 400-meter for 21^st place. Rodriguez ran a 2:05.93 for eighth place in the 800-meter. Keeshon Towles ran a 2:06.09 in the 800-meter for ninth place. Hazlitt Pena ran a 10:53.73 in the 3000-meter steeplechase for fourth place. In the women's 800-meter, Chloe Boyer ran a 3:07.82 for 16^th place and Jhenna Hillier ran a 3:21.38 for 18^th place.
