Men's Track Team Sets 4x400 Record

The men's 4x400 set a new school record at the Belhaven Invite.

THE BASICS
The women's and men's track teams competed in the Belhaven University Invitational April 17 in Jackson, Mississippi. The men's 4x400 relay set a new NCAA III school record with a time of 3:44.23. The team included Ndayambaje John, Cesar Rodriguez, Benjamin Stormes and Keeshon Towles and placed fifth in the event. Rodriguez ran a personal best 4:32.73 in the 1500-meter for 14th place. Benjamin Stormes ran a 57.96 in the 400-meter for 21st place. Rodriguez ran a 2:05.93 for eighth place in the 800-meter. Keeshon Towles ran a 2:06.09 in the 800-meter for ninth place. Hazlitt Pena ran a 10:53.73 in the 3000-meter steeplechase for fourth place. In the women's 800-meter, Chloe Boyer ran a 3:07.82 for 16th place and Jhenna Hillier ran a 3:21.38 for 18th place.
