THE BASICS
Clinton, Miss.-The Eagles opened the 2022 outdoor season at the Mississippi College Opener Saturday in Clinton, Mississippi. In the men's 400, Andrew Duncan ran a 55.43 for 25th place, Benjamin Stormes ran a 56.04 for 28th place, Travion Dickerson ran a 58.11 for 36th place and  Jonathan Henriquez ran a1:02.47 for 38th place. In the women's 1500, Chloe Boyer ran a 6:03.15 for 28th and Solena Martinez Aleman ran a 6:36.31 for 36th place. In the men's 5000, Miguel Angel Quisquina Saloj ran a 18:17.93 for 42nd place and Duban Figueroa ran a 18:27.59 for 44th place. In the women's 800, Marcela Valladares ran a 3:27.81 for 35th place and Almalila Ramirez ran a 3:30.86 for 37th place. In the men's 800, Cesar Rodriguez ran a 2:00.84 for eighth place. His time set a new program record in the 800-meter. In the men's 200, Andrew Duncan ran a 24.26 for 43rd place, Jonathan Henriquez ran a 25.59 for 54th place and Travion Dickerson ran a 27.17 for 56th place.
