  • Eagles Compete Against SEC Runners At McDonnell Invite

    Fayetteville, Ark.-The men's track team competed in the prominent University of Arkansas John McDonnell Invitational on Friday in Fayetteville. The Eagles competed against the national champion Razorbacks and other NCAA I teams from the SEC. Three Eagles competed in the Invitational at famed John McDonnell Field. In the 3000 steeple, Nathan Rankin ran a 10:02.41 for eighth place. In the 400, Tavion Dickenson ran a 53.98 to place 26th. In the 3000, Baltazar Garcia ran a 9:50.68 for 11th place.

    Bolivar, Mo.-The men's track team competed in the Southwest Baptist University Bearcat Open Saturday in Bolivar, Missouri. In the 1500, Zachary Wilson ran a 5:15.52 for 45th place. In the 800, Andrew Duncan ran a 2:05.66 for 29th place and Benjamin Stormes ran a 2:07.44 for 35th place. In the 200, Americus Louis ran a 22.42 tenth place. In the 1500, Baltazar Garcia ran a 9:37.57 for 12th place, Miguel Quisquina ran a 10:22.46 for 16th place, Colby Dorcely ran a 10:29.24 for 17th place and Duban Figueroa ran a 10:38.95 for 18th place.

    Clarksville, Ark. - In the first edition of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Rankings released this week, the University of the Ozarks women's and men’s track team earned regional rankings.
  • Eagles Have Top-10 Finishes At UCA Richard Martin Invite

    Conway, Ark.-The men's track team competed in the University of Central Arkansas Richard Martin Jr. Invitational over the weekend in Conway. In the 1500-meter, Nathan Rankin ran a 4:10.43 for ninth place. Benjamin Stormes ran a 4:39.75 for 23rd place and Colby Dorcely ran a 4:53.67 for 28th place. In the 5000-meter, Baltazar Garcia ran a 17:00.11 for tenth place. In the 800-meter, Rankin placed sixth overall with a time of 2:03.04. Benjamin Stormes ran a 2:12.64 for 18th place. Dorcely ran a 2:26.12 for 20th place and Zach Wilson ran a 2:39.80 for 22nd place. In the 400-meter, Andrew Duncan ran a 55.22 to place fourth.
  • Track Opens Spring Season In Conway

    Conway, Ark.-The men's track team opened the 2023 spring season at the Hendrix College Alumni Open on Saturday in Conway. Two Eagles competed in the 3,000 steeple. Nathan Rankin ran a 9:48.79 to place fourth overall. Rankin's time set a new program record. Ashton Arnold ran a 11:04.63 for ninth place. In the 1500, Baltazar Garcia placed 29th with a time of 4:35.62. In the 400, Tavion Dickenson ran a 53.02 for seventh place. Andrew Duncan ran a 54.65 11th place. Benjamin Stormes ran a 55.82 for 13th place and Colby Dorcely ran a 1:05.16 for 20th  place. In the 800, Benjamin Stormes placed 34th with a time of 2:20.60. Baltazar Garcia ran a 2:24.13 for 36th place. Colby Dorcely ran a 2:30.20 for 40th place and Zachary Wilson ran a 2:41.73 for 42nd place. In the 5000, Nathan Duncan ran a 17:17.43 for 12th place and Miguel Quisquina ran a 18:11.58 for 16th place.
