GAME ONE
Overview:
Sherman, Texas-The Eagles lost a slugfest to open the season against Austin College as the Kangaroos won 15-12. The Kangaroos scored 11 runs in the first inning to set the tone. The Eagles eventually scored twice in the second and three in the fifth to close the deficit to 12-5. The Eagles then plated five more runs in the sixth to make it 12-10. But Austin College responded with three runs in the bottom of the half of the sixth. The Eagles came back to score twice in the top of the seventh, but it wouldn't be enough. Hayley Rivett went 4-for-4 with six RBI and homered twice. Allison Cowart went 3-for-4.

GAME TWO

Overview:
The Eagles came back to grab a 10-6 win in game two. The Eagles plated five runs in the first inning to grab an early lead. The Eagles then added two more runs in the second to move ahead 7-0. Austin College scored three runs in the third, but the Eagles responded with three runs of their own in the top of the fourth. Paige Morton had two hits, including a home run, to drive in four runs. Kaylyn Soria also homered.

GAME ONE
Overview:
Irving, Texas-The Eagles scored runs in five different innings, including three times in the top of the first, to take a 9-6 win in game one over University of Dallas. The Crusaders responded with three runs in the bottom of the first to even the contest. The Crusaders went ahead 4-3 in the second, but the Eagles scored twice in the top of the third to take the lead for good. Allie Shero produced both runs with a home run. With the Eagles leading 6-4, Hayley Rivett blasted a two-run homer to give the Eagles a 8-4 advantage. Rivett finished with three hits and three RBI. Mack Lucio also had three hits.

GAME TWO

Overview:
The Crusaders took game two 9-0 in five innings of play. The Crusaders scored three times in the first and fourth times in the second. With the Eagle bats silenced, the Crusaders tacked on two more runs in the fourth.
