GAME ONE
Overview:
Clarksville, Ark.-Hardin-Simmons broke a 2-2 tie in the top of the fifth to take a 5-2 win over the Eagles in the conference opener Saturday. Hardin-Simmons struck first with a pair of runs in the second, but the Eagles answered with two runs in the bottom of the fourth to even the contest. Kaylyn Soria led the Eagles off with a single and Allison Cowart then pushed pinch runner Ashton Daniel over to third base with a perfect sacrifice bunt. Hayley Rivett then blasted a two-run homer to tie the game. Hardin-Simmons got the two runs back in the fifth on a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly. The Eagles wouldn't score again. Both teams had six hits in the game. Mack Lucio paced the Eagles with two hits.

GAME TWO
Overview:
Hardin-Simmons found its offensive rhythm in game two recording 13 hits to earn a 11-1 win. The Eagles' bats were limited to four hits. Hardin-Simmons scored four runs in the second to take an early lead and then outlasted the Eagles the rest of the way. Allie Shero paced the Eagles with two hits.
