GAME ONE
Overview:
Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles scored all six runs in the first three innings of play to pick up a 6-2 win over Lyon College Sunday afternoon in game one. Lyon would hold a lead for just a short time in the game scoring once in the top of the first. The Eagles' offense responded with a run to even the contest on Allyson Fultz's sacrifice fly. After keeping Lyon scoreless in the top of the second, the Eagles plated two runs in the bottom half of the inning. Gracie Jones delivered a two-run single to put the Eagles in front 3-1. In the third inning, the Eagles got an outstanding defensive play to keep the lead. After Lyon scored one run, the Scots looked to threaten once more with runners on first and third with just one out. However, Sarah Todd got Whitney Mitchell to line out into a double play to end the threat. The momentum carried into the bottom half of the inning as the Eagles loaded the bases. Kaylyn Soria crossed the plate on a wild pitch and Mack Lucio singled in Rayli Ruby and Olivia Reed to make it 6-2. From there, relief pitcher Morgan Haupt kept the Scots off the board the rest of the game. The Eagles totaled nine hits, with Lucio, Jones and Ruby each collecting two hits apiece. Sarah Todd received the win in the circle and Haupt received the save.

GAME TWO
Overview:
Lyon College starting pitcher McKenzie Campbell kept the Eagles' offense in check as the Scots won game two 1-0. The Eagles recorded just two hits against the right-hander. A pitching battle between Campbell and Allyson Fultz ensued, but Lyon was able to scratch across a run in the third inning on a sacrifice fly. The Eagles would collect just one hit after that. The Eagles made some outstanding defensive plays, one of which ended the fifth inning. Shortstop Hayley Rivett robbed Savannah Lee of a hit when she went to her right to field a hard hit ball and then threw across her body to first for the out.
