THE BASICS
Richardson, Texas – Texas Dallas opened the first quarter with a 18-7 lead and never let the Eagles back into the game as the Comets cruised to a 70-45 win Wednesday night. The Comets led 34-24 at halftime and then extended their lead to 52-33 after three quarters. It was a tough night shooting the ball as both teams struggled, with Texas Dallas owning a 38 percentage. The Eagles made 31 percent from the field in the game. The Eagles committed 24 turnovers to make a comeback difficult. Amanda Turpin scored nine points to lead the Eagles.
