THE BASICS
Conway, Ark. – Hendrix College used a 36-28 halftime lead to upend the Eagles 65-57 Friday in Conway. The Warriors benefited from ten three-pointers in the game, while the Eagles hit only two. In the third quarter, Brittany Temple hit a jumper to pull the Eagles within 44-41 with two minutes left. Hendrix would then hold a seven-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Warriors held a 60-47 lead with less than five minutes in the game. The Eagles did close the gap to six points later but the deficit was too big to overcome. Makya Perryman led the Eagles with 14 points.
