THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark.-Dalena Fisher and Layla Powell hit back-to-back three-pointers in the fourth quarter to help the Eagles take a 70-63 win over Concordia University Texas Saturday. The Eagles trailed the entire third quarter and for most of the fourth quarter until Fisher hit the go-ahead bucket at the 3:48 mark. Powell would hit her second three of the quarter one minute later to give the Eagles a 65-60 lead. Concordia answered with a bucket, but Lili Garcia hit a clutch shot and Powell made two clutch free throws for the Eagles down the stretch. Concordia held a 37-32 halftime lead. In the game, the Eagles hit 23 free throws, while Concordia made just eight. Powell led the team with 16 points. She hit 3-of-4 from the three-point line.
