HOW IT HAPPENED
The Texas Dallas Comets scored the game-winning goal in the second half to overcome an outstanding Eagles' effort to pick up a 1-0 win on Saturday in conference play. The Eagles displayed an organized defensive determination throughout the match. The Eagles slowed down the Comets, which had scored a combined five goals over the last two conference matches. Eagles' goalkeeper Grace Houchin had several outstanding saves and finished with seven. The Eagles kept the game scoreless at halftime and then had three quality shots on goal in the second half.
