HOW IT HAPPENED
Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles gave nationally-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor all it wanted as the Crusaders overcame a 1-0 deficit to come away with a 3-1 win Saturday in conference play. The Eagles led 1-0 on a goal from Kaitlyn McMahan in the ninth minute. McMahan raced down the field in a one-on-one opportunity with the goalkeeper and kicked a rocket that the goalkeeper deflected. The ball was hit enough to continue on and roll into the back of the net. The assist went to Savannah Solloway. The No. 15 Crusaders did answer to make it 1-1 at halftime. After battling through the second half, the Crusaders scored in the 67th minute and the 83rd minute. Mary Hardin-Baylor created 11 corner kicks in the match.
